Long time no Blog

Been missing in action for a while, no stitching to speak off but we have recently gotten back from a lovely family holiday in Adelaide Australia, but this is the view from my window this morning. Twas snowing most of yesterday and through the night. It had stopped but has just started up again as I was loading these photoes.
You can see the snow on the power lines which is always a course for worry. My husband who is a computer guy has just had to get into town to help those who's systems are down, and as it is the start of the school holidays as well as the start of the ski season and we live in the very centre of the North Islands ski area, well ..... all said.

I ghad been wondering how you were faring with this aswful weather - saw on the news last night that there had been heavy snow in Central North Island, so I was hoping you were ok.
It's bitterly cold here, so I can only imagine how much worse it must be where you are!
I hope you can spend the day tucked up by the fire! Stitching of course :)

Welcome back Judith and look at all that snow golly it looks so serene.
We don't get much snow in Canberra and when we do--if you blink you will miss it.

Hi Judith, the snow looks wonderful compared to our Texas heat and humidity. We are nearing the 100 degree mark and it's just too hot to do any outside work.

While you're staying close to the fire I'm inside where the central air conditioning will keep me cool. Hey, I'll trade with you!

Great to see you posting again. Take care!
